MANKATO-August 30, 2012-(KMKO)-The 2012 Mankato Marathon is less than two months away, and organizers need your help.  Nearly 1,000 volunteers are needed to make the weekend run smoothly for the runners. There are several duties that need to be filled, like course marshal, bicycle medical support and race bag stuffing. The third annual Mankato Marathon races take place on the weekend of October 20th and 21st. Officials expect 5,000 runners to take part.  If you would like to volunteer, call 385-6660.
