MANKATO-August 29, 2012-(KMKO)-The Blue Earth County Board met for a work session yesterday and covered several topics.  The county library system continues to be on the mind of commissioners, as they plan to conduct a survey of residents to see what they want.  The survey will be available online in the near future.  County Engineer Al Forsberg also updated commissioners yesterday on the Metropolitan Planning Organization, which is required for a county with a population of over 50,000 people.  The organization works to secure state and federal dollars for transportation and transit.
