MANKATO-August 29, 2012-(KMKO)-A 46-year-old Mankato man was injured yesterday when his scooter was cut off by a van.  The incident happened shortly after noon at Highway 169 and Center Street in North Mankato.  According to the state patrol, Curtis Kliewer crashed when his scooter was cut off by a blue cargo van.  Kliewer was transported to Mayo Health System, Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.  The other driver did not stop.
