MANKATO-August 28, 2012-(KMKO)- Blue Earth County Road 17 is now open to traffic between Carver Road and County Road 86.  The road re-opened to traffic several days ahead of the anticipated timeline in constructing turn and bypass lanes at the intersection with County Road 12.   Officials say the early opening is due to the diligent efforts of the contractor and county staff, which resulted in less impact to the public, greater project efficiency, cost savings and added safety for construction workers.
