Homeless Man Charged With Failing To Register As A Predatory Offender

MANKATO August 27, 2012 – A 33-year-old homeless sexual predator was given several chances to move from his home under the North Star Bridge in Mankato.

In the end, 33-year-old Jeremy Thompson told police he'd move in with his near-by grandparents, but instead listed his address as “under bridge 169 by Burger King.”

Several days later, the same office found Thompson under the same bridge, but Thompson claimed to be passing through from a near-by grocery store to his grandparents home.

He’s been charged with a felony for failing to register as a predatory offender.
