MANKATO (August 20, 2012) – Felony fraud charges have been filed against a 23-year-old Mapleton man who allegedly used four of his mom’s credit cards to buy credits for a Facebook game.
 
Mapleton police started the investigation last March after the mother discovered the cards had been used to buy credits for the game Superhero City.
 
Alan Benson used the cards without his mom’s permission for over $1,500. He later told police “stupidity” is why he did it.
