Man Found With Dope Along Highway 15



MANKATO (August 16, 2012) – A Winthrop man faces five charges, including a felony 5th Degree Drug charge, after a state trooper found him parked in a car along Highway 15 with dope on Monday.
 
25-year-old John Meyer was allegedly found by the trooper in a parked car the smell of marijuana smoke coming from an open car window.
 
Police also found a wire used for smoking pot, several pipes with residue, marijuana, and the prescription drug alprazolam.
 
He later admitted to the trooper that he hadn’t slept since he last smoke meth two days earlier.
