MANKATO-August 16, 2012-(KMKO)-As part of the County Road 12 extension project, the Blue Earth County Highway Department will close County Road 17 between Carver Road and County Road 86 on Monday, weather permitting.  Crews will construct turn and bypass lanes at the intersection with County Road 12.  Drivers can expect this portion of County Road 17 to be closed for approximately ten days.  Motorists can expect continued lane restrictions on Highway 14 though fall.  All construction activities for the County Road 12 and Highway 14 project are expected to be completed by late fall.
