MANKATO-July 30, 2012-(KMKO)-The city of Mankato is advising those who want to take part in the August 13th marriage amendment forum to sign up in advance.  At the city council meeting scheduled for two weeks from tonight, a public forum will be held so residents can give their opinion about the proposed marriage amendment that will be on the November sixth ballot in Minnesota.  A large crowd is expected at the two-hour forum, so speakers are encouraged to sign up by calling the city clerk at 387-8546.  Written comments will also be accepted by the city clerk’s office.
