OWATONNA (KMKO) – The Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities say they will not be ignored next legislative session.
 
The group recently held their annual meeting in Owatonna and represent about 80 different communities.
 
They say property taxes are crippling homeowners and business and they are being hit twice as hard as the metro.
 
According to the group, Greater Minnesota saw property tax increase of 6-point-6 percent compared to 2-point-6 percent in the metro.
