MANKATO - July 25, 2012 - (KMKO) --Unemployment rates have been posted for Minnesota Metropolitan Areas, with the Mankato-North Mankato Sector coming in second for the highest increase since last postings. This area had a 3.1 increase in private sector jobs for year-over-year job gains, just under St. Cloud Metro Area's 3.7 percent. Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties currently employ 45,291 people. The entire state of Minnesota averaged a 1.6 percent gain in year-over-year numbers, just 2 tenths off of the entire United State's 1.8 percent.
