MANKATO - July 24, 2012 - (KMKO) --Designed to address safety issues, increase efficiencies, address citizen complaints and clarify current practices, the city council had a greed to look further at moving the current taxi cab stop from the area of Cherry and South Front Streets to Second Street. Public Safety Commander Todd Miller said there are problems with congestion at the current location. They also looked at the taxi cab ordinance which includes a sticker, changing the licensing calendar and eliminating the need to have rates approved by the city council among other issues.
