MANKATO - July 23, 2012 - (KMKO) --A nation wide appeal for blood was issued about a month ago from the American Red Cross. Supplies are running low with the massive heat wave, severe storms and the holidays. The South Central Chapter is getting the word out for donors to help lessen the issue. Donations can be done at the Mankato office located on Homestead Drive twice per month: the third Thursday and Friday. For more information visit redcrossmn.org.
