Cause Of Local Drownings Revealed



MANKATO (KMKO) – An autopsy and toxicology report confirms that both drowning victims in Blue Earth County had alcohol in their systems.
 
According to Blue Earth County officials, 21 year-old Jenny Mae Krahling drowned while tubing in the Rapidan River, back in May 2012, with a blood alcohol level of .17 and also tested positive for amphetamines and cocaine.
 
23 year-old Madi Omot Nyagow drowned while swimming last June with a blood alcohol level of .17 and also tested positive for marijuana.

Their cause of deaths were officially rule as "fresh water drownings".
