Mankato (KMKO)-It's an issue that covers many areas, including morals, rights and the law.  It can also be complicated.  The Minnesota marriage debate is being played out locally, with several cities passing resolutions opposing the proposed constitutional amendment before voters that defines marriage as solely between a man and a woman.  Members of the Mankato City Council are hearing from constituents as they prepare for an August 13th public forum on the issue.
