Mankato (KMKO)-Minnesota State University, Mankato has announced the appointment of Linda Baer as interim vice president for academic and student affairs, effective July 17.  Baer replaces Scott Olson, who was recently named president of Winona State University.  Baer holds a doctorate in sociology from South Dakota State University. She has served over 30 years in numerous executive level positions in higher education.  Currently, she works as the senior program consultant with i4Solutions to inspire leaders to improve student success and transform institutions for the future.
