Mankato (KMKO)-A 20-year-old Mankato man faces charges after a police chase on Saturday.  Nathaniel Hancock made his first appearance in Blue Earth County Court yesterday.  Mankato police attempted to pull Hancock over for a traffic violation on Monks Avenue at 1:00 Saturday morning.  He failed to stop and ditched his car on Stadium Road, fleeing on foot.  He was later apprehended at his home.  Hancock faces on felony count of fleeing police in a motor vehicle and one misdemeanor count of fleeing on foot.  He was released on bail yesterday.
