Mankato (KMKO)-The newly remodeled Orness Plaza will be dedicated today.  The building’s 101 apartments, seven-story atrium space and other public areas have been completely renovated The facility has recently been re-designed to be a green and energy-efficient housing complex. The remodel was done to meet the Leadership in Energy and Environmental design specifications.  The dedication will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a special guest speaker, former Vice President Walter Mondale. The open house will be followed by tours.  Orness Plaza is located at 900 Hope Street in Mankato.
