Mankato (KMKO)-A "no knock, night time" search warrant investigation revealed weapons and an indoor marijuana operation at a residence on Fourth Avenue in Mankato yesterday afternoon. Brandon Bembenek and Leita Baker were arrested after trying to flee public safety officials.  Authorities located an estimated 53 marijuana plants and prescription pills in their garage. Bembenek and Baker are facing a fifth degree controlled substance violation for cultivation of marijuana.  The maximum penalty has an imprisonment of up to five years, a fine up to $10,000, or both.
