Mankato (KMKO)-Mankato Area Public Schools will participate in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's summer food service program this year.  It runs from Thursday, June 14th through Friday, August 24th. Meals will be served Monday through Friday to children 18 years old and younger at no charge.  The meals will be available at Kennedy Elementary School in Mankato and Hoover Elementary School in North Mankato.  Breakfast is served between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to noon.  To get more details, call 388-7442.
