Mankato (KMKO)-Charlie Hurd has a challenger for his Fourth Ward Seat on the Mankato City Council.  Jason Mattick filed paperwork yesterday to launch his campaign.  The 29 year old Mattick is a life-long Mankato resident.  He ran an unsuccessful campaign for Hurd's seat in 2008.  The other two incumbents on the council are running unopposed at this time, Tamra Rovney in Ward Two and Mike Laven in the at-Large seat.  The filing period ends at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June fifth.
