Mankato (KMKO)-A Mankato teacher has been selected to receive a grant to attend a teacher's academy in New Jersey. Linda Ruehle, a fifth grade teacher at Loyola Catholic School, will attend the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy in July at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City.  It provides third-through fifth-grade teachers with tools to enhance curricula, an opportunity to network with other educators and help discover innovative ways to teach science and math.  Mrs. Ruehle says those are two of the most important building blocks to success.  Mrs. Ruehle has been teaching at Loyola Catholic School for 33 years.
