MANKATO (KMKO) -- Mankato police today praised the Mankato School District and administration for how they handled Monday's bomb threat.
 
"The school district is well prepared," said Detective Commander Matt DuRose.
 
Law enforcement did say today they did not use dogs to search the school building and it was the decision of the school to eventually render the building safe again for students.
 
"It really is a joint effort, " added DuRose
