Man Charged For April Fools Day 2009 Crime In Mankato
MANKATO (TEC News) -- A Bloomington man on supervised release has been charged with breaking into a Mankato apartment on fondling a woman on April Fool's Day 2009.
46-year-old Michael Mack is accused of forcing his way into a Mankato apartment the evening of April 2, 2009 and then locking the door behind him.
According to court records, Mack and the female knew each other through a mutual friend she volunteered with at a food shelf.
After touching her and telling the victim she was "cute", she was able to get Mack to leave on his own.
When he spoke with officers, Mack initially denied the allegations, but later said the "liquor" made him do it.
