The twelve, 2011 Drivers of the Month will be recognized at a banquet in the Twin Cities with one of them being named Minnesota Driver of the Year. The winner will be nominated for National Driver of the Year.
Among the nominees are Gary Ingvalson of Jensen Transport (Mankato); Dean Thompson of Jensen Transport (Mankato); Anthony Tipton of Volk Transfer (Mankato) and Daniel Pierson of Bartels Truck Line (Winthrop).
According to the MTA, the twelve drivers represent 176 years of driving experience and over 24.7 million safe driving miles.
