UPDATED - Crash Shuts Down Highway 14 East Bound In Mankato



MANKATO (TEC News) -- A multi-vehicle crash has shut down eastbound Highway 14 in Mankato this morning.

The State Patrol is describing the accident as a "personal injury" crash, but the extent of injuries isn't known.

According to the Patrol, the crash involved two semis, a van and two passenger car.

Road conditions are described as "icy".

Eastbound Highway 14 will be shutdown until the accident scene is cleared.

The Mankato MnDOT office says in general roads are plowed, but continued light snow is making them "greasy."

They seen a few cars in the ditch and some stalled vehicles due to cold-temperature related mechanical problems..
