MANKATO (TEC News) -- A loud party complaint led to the arrest of one man on an outstanding warrant and the eventual arrest of two men for assaulting another man.
Mankato police were called to an apartment 419 Holly Lane to investigate a loud party early Monday morning at 2:49 a.m.
Once officers arrived they ended up arresting an unidentified man on a Steele County warrant. A police commander this morning was unable to say what the warrant was for.
After clearing the scene, police were called back to the same apartment about an hour later after two men "came barging in" and assaulted the apartment's resident.
Officers say two men, 25-year-old Louis Hernandez and 22-year-old Omar Hernandez were allegedly upset at the victim, believing he was responsible for the other man's arrest on a warrant.
Police later arrested the two men at their home at 407 Holly Lane on charges of burglary, assault and trespassing.
The victim did not require medical attention, according the police.
