Services Planned For North Mankato Accident Victim



NORTH MANKATO (TEC News) -- Visitation and a public prayer service will be held Saturday for the 18-year-old victim of a car crash in North Mankato.

18-year-old Matthew Buryska of North Mankato was Salutatorian of his 2011 graduating class at the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf and was attending college in Washington DC.

At MSAD, Buryska was also a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. He was active in theater and academic bowls.

Visitation at the North Mankato Mortuary will start Saturday at 10 am with the prayer service at noon.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests memorials be giver to the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf, 615 Olof Hanson Driver, Faribault, MN 55021.
