WASHINGTON DC (TEC News) -- Congressman Tim Walz is calling on House Republicans to stop playing games and approve an extension of middle class tax cuts.
The House has rejected a Senate approved plans for a two month extension.
Without a new deal, taxes for the average American could go up $1,000 a year starting January 1st.
Walz says there is a "confrontation over compromise" attitude in Washington.
