Cause of Blue Earth County Crash Under Investigation



MANKATO (TEC News) -- Authorities are still piecing together what caused a two-vehicle crash late Friday night south of Mankato.

18-year-old Kelsie Seykora of Lake Crystal was on County Road 33 when she lost control of her car and collided with a pickup truck.

A passenger, 20-year-old Daniel Stahl is in critical condition at St. Mary's in Rochester. Seykora and 18-year-old Bradley Gibbs of St. Peter were taken to Mayo Hospital in Mankato.

A third passenger, 19-year-old Derek Thostenson of Alden and the driver of the pickup, 52-year-old Jill Krause of Good Thunder were treated and released.

The accident happened just south of the Jones Ford Bridge in South Bend Township.
