KEYC TV's "Uncharacteristic" Newscast Goes Viral

MANKATO (TEC News) -- KEYC-TV is offering no explanation for why anchor Annie Stensrud stumbled and slurred her way through Sunday's 10 p.m. newscast.

In a statement released Wednesday, KEYC VP and General Manager Dennis Wahlstrom said while the "uncharacteristic newscast" was hardly private, it will be resolved internally.

"Sunday night's uncharacteristic newscast on KEYC Mankato can hardly be considered private. Nonetheless,in our judgment, the matter represents a personnel issue to be resolved internally." said Wahlstrom in a written statement.

While viewers watched the newscast live, thousands more are seeing for the first time on YouTube.

It had about 300 views Wednesday morning when we first saw it. 24 hours later it has been viewed over 105,000 times.

The video and a poll are on the Huffington Post website and a story was done on the television news website TVSpy.com
