MANKATO (TEC News) -- Statements a MSU student made following his arrest this summer for allegedly murdering his ex-girlfriend will be challenged by his attorney. 19-year-old Damone Christopher Williams-Tillman is charged with stabbing Josselyn Bishop in broad daylight on North Riverfront Drive in July. The pair were driving around in his car when they started arguing. She fled the vehicle and he chased her down, stabbing her multiple times in the street's boulevard.
A passing truck driver spotter Bishop's body.
He's accused of admitting to the murder to a BCA agent and was overheard telling someone over a jail phone "I killed someone."
Williams-Tillman's attorney has until early January to submit written arguments.
