MANKATO (TEC News) -- Mankato police say they have arrested one person in what they say may be a local pick-pocket ring.
21-year-old Shanta Coker of Mankato was arrested at 2 a.m. Sunday trying to use a stolen credit card to by gift cards at the downtown Hy-Vee.
Police say there have been numerous reports of billfolds stolen out of purses in downtown bars and credit cards then being used to buy gift cards at local stores.
