PHOTOS -- Family Of Madelia Accident Victim Put Up $3,000 Reward

MANKATO (TEC News) – The family of a Madelia man, critically injured in a motorcycle accident in October near Gaylord, is offering a $3,000 reward for information about the hit-and-run vehicle and driver.

29-year-old John Bryo collided with an unknown vehicle around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 19 and 5.

The photos to the left were provided by the family.

It’s believed the suspect vehicle is a light-colored passenger vehicle or SUV with damage to the rear or rear bumper.

Byro has completed two tours of duty in Iraq. His family is grateful that John made it home safely after serving his country and they have been able to spend time with him since his return.

Bryo is in his third year of college, at Metropoliton State University, in the Twin Cities where he is enrolled in the Law Enforcement Program.

"John is the kind of person people gravitate to; everyone wants to be around him," says Dave Byro, John's father.

Information is being sought to locate the unknown vehicle and the driver for questioning.

The reward is for information that leads to this vehicle, the driver and the information needed for full resolution of this hit and run case.

Anyone with information is asked to call the State Patrol at 389-1172.
