MANKATO (TEC News) – Police have no suspects in a stabbing late Monday night along a street just off Madison Avenue on Mankato’s hilltop.When police arrived at the scene in the 1500 block of Tullamore Street, which runs behind Godfather’s and Pizza Ranch, they found a 20-year-old male with a single stab wound to the stomach.
A Department of Public Safety commander said Tuesday morning that the victim knew of the suspect, but didn’t know his name.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 20s who fled the scene in a white Chrysler Sebring.
Police were unable to say what led to the stabbing.
The victim was treated at Mayo Hospital-Mankato for non-life threatening injuries.
