Mankato Police Issue Another Warning About Burglaries

MANKATO (TEC News) – Mankato police are issuing another warning about an ongoing rash of burglaries.

A previous warning by Public Safety said burglars were only targeting unlocked garages.

But now there are reports of thieves entering occupied homes by entering unlocked doors and even cutting screens to gain entry.

Residents are urged to lock all doors and windows, including access doors inside attached garages.

Police also say there is no one area where the burglaries are happening and that it appears to be more than one group.
