NICOLLET (TEC News) – A Mankato woman was killed Monday afternoon when her car was hit by a semi on Highway 14 in Nicollet.
85-year-old Melvina Aaberg was dead-at-the-scene.
Investigators say she was northbound on Nicollet County Road 23, failed to yield to the eastbound semi on Highway 14 driven-by 68-year-old Lynn Braun of North Mankato.
Braun was not injured.
