MANKATO (TEC News) – A former MSU student found dead inside a Highland Hills apartment by Mankato firemen on August 1st had tried to hang himself inside a closet after setting the fire.
An autopsy ruled 21-year-old Ayush Bhattorai died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Investigators found several burned items in the apartment, including a sleeping bag.
Bhattorai was a native of Napal.
