Accident Victim’s Condition Is Improving

ROCHESTER (TEC News) – The condition of the only survivor of Sunday’s double-fatal crash near Mankato continues to improve.
The CaringBridge website for 23-year-old Mark Chalin of St. James says he is listed in stable condition.
He underwent surgery on Sunday and Monday and another is anticipated for today or Wednesday, according to the website.
Chalin was the driver of a car that crossed the centerline of CSAH 90 south of Mankato Sunday afternoon killing a passenger and the driver of the other car.
