Heat Illness Cases Few At Hospital Emergency Room

MANKATO – Mayo Hospital in Mankato says they have not seen great numbers of people in the emergency room suffering from heat-related illnesses. Spokesperson Kevin Burns says so far no one has needed to be admitted.

Burns actually says the weekend of North Mankato Fun Day was busier for heat illnesses.

A high of 97 with a heat index of 115 is expected, but relief from both the heat and humidity is in the forecast starting tomorrow.
