MANKATO – Felony domestic assault charges are pending against a 19-year-old woman who allegedly tried to choke her boyfriend with an extension cord. The boyfriend also told police that 19-year-old Melissa Wilmes hit him at least ten times over the head with his cell phone as he tried to call 9-1-1.
Police were called to the trailer park at 1025 Belle Avenue around 11:30 Saturday morning.
The man also had bite marks from Wilmes.
Two on his back and two on his shoulder.
