NORTH MANKATO – A region-wide disaster exercise will be held this morning in North Mankato to test the responsiveness in the event of a large-scale disaster.
Coordinated by South Central College, hospitals, county public heath, emergency management and other groups will be asked to simulate a natural disaster.
The exercise will include establishing hospital command centers, county emergency operation centers and the Multi-Agency Coordination Center in Mankato to organize response across the region.
