Man Accused Of Swiping Items From Vulnerable Adult

MANKATO – A former personal care attendant for a vulnerable adult in Mankato is accused of stealing items from the man and then pawning them off for cash.

23-year-old Nathan Salic of Winnebago faces a felony theft charge for an incident reported to
Mankato police last July.

An iPod and a digital camera were pawned off by Salic.

Salic at first told police he didn’t steal the items, but pawned them off for a black man he came across smoking pot at the top of the
Main Street hill named “Milwaukee” because the man didn’t have an ID.

Salic eventually admitted to stealing the camera. He denied stealing the iPod, but admitted to pawing it.
