MANKATO – A man who set fire to his late night snack of chicken and potatoes in his oven was arrested early Thursday morning when he interfered with police and fire.

Police say 60-year-old Kent Haugum was intoxicated when he fought with police to go back inside the home at 132 Gwynn Avenue.

Damage was limited to smoke, but Haugum faces a felony charge for striking an officer.
