NORTH MANKATO – MnDOT is considering installing a noise wall as part of the proposed Highway 14 project at North Mankato.
The project could start as soon as this fall with an interchange with County Road 41, roundabouts and a two-mile extension of four lanes.
MnDOT says noise levels for a number of homes will exceed state daytime and nighttime standards.
Public opinion will be sought at an open house on June 29 at fire station #2 in North Mankato.
