ST. PETER – An inpatient psychological exam has been ordered for the teen charged with setting fire to a rural Lafayette barn.
Prosecutors argued that 16-year-old Skylar Reed was a public safety risk, having set seven fires at age 9.
Reed told investigators that he started the fire, watched it grow, and then called 9-1-1 to report the fire.
