LE CENTER -- A Kilkenny man who is currently in prison in St. Cloud has been charged with seven Le Sueur County burglaries in 2010.
29-year-old Jason William Filan allegedly confessed the crimes to a sheriff investigator during a prison interview in mid-December 2010.
Court records say Filan's name came up as a possible suspect during the investigation.
He faces six counts of felony burglary and seven counts of theft.
Three of the burglaries happened in July 2010, one was in August 2010 and three were in October 2010.
Filan is accused of swiping several thousands of dollars of jewelry, thousands in tools, a $2,000 dirt bike and a $20,000 custom ATV used for racing.
He is currently in prison for a burglary conviction in Rice County and is not scheduled for release until October 2012.
Filan has a history of are burglaries dating back to 2011.
