Friend Describes Lemke As A "Inspiration Of Happiness"

Mankato (Monday, February 2, 2010) -- On a day where classes were being dismissed early for a winter storm, came a blizzard of emotions for many Mankato East students. Students say administrators confirmed this morning to them what rumors already had spelled out. A popular former student, Dustin Lemke, who graduated last year, had been killed in a car accident. Many rushed to Lemke's Facebook page to pour out their emotions. One called Lemke an "inspiration of happiness." One person paid tribute to Lemke saying he was "one of the few people in this life I had met who I can truly say never mistreated anyone." Even those who admitted to not knowing Lemke well said he was the "guy who was always smiling."
