Dalton -- An 18-year-old graduate of Mankato East High School was killed Sunday afternoon when he was struck by a car along I-94 near Dalton, south of Fergus Falls. Dustin Lemke of Eagle Lake was walking along the highway after the car he was a passenger in went into the ditch. An initial report from the State Patrol said Lemke and a second unidentified pedestrian were struck. The other pedestrian received "non-life threatening" injuries. His name was not included in the final state patrol report.
