MANKATO-October 23, 2012-(KMKO)-A Pine Island woman is seeking over $50,000 claiming she was sexually abused by her step-father. The 21-year-old woman is suing Thomas Goebel of Pemberton, who is now 49 years-old. He was sentenced to 45 months in prison after he was sentenced in September 2010. The woman accuses Goebel of batter, assault, and emotional distress, claiming she was the subject of sexual battery from age nine through 17.
